These are the dogs we have here at the shelter.
You may notice below some dogs it will say "ADOPTION PENDING"This means that dog has one or more applications for his/her adoption. It does not always mean the adoption will go through (denied application, loss of interest, bad fit, ect.) but is there so nobody gets their hopes too high on a dog that might already have found a forever home. Thankyou!
Helpful Hint: Dont forget to check out our "little dogs" page. Anytime we have some smaller breed dogs we will have them on that page. It is located on the right side with the rest of our pages but only opens when you click on "Dogs At The Shelter". Also under our dogs page you will begin to notice the names of each dog. We have started making individual pages for each dog which contains more information and pictures. It is a work in progress so please be patient! Thank you!

Fox is a 7 year old neutered Lab mix male. He loves to go for walks and absolutely loves his rawhide bones. Fox has been at our shelter since June of 2015 and we would love for him to find his furever home in which he can retire and live happily for the rest of his life. He would be best in a home with older children or a single person home. He does have arthritis starting in his hips which makes him a little stiff moving in the morning (don't we all), but once he gets go...ing, he's moving pretty good for an old boy. He gets along with spayed female dogs better than male dogs and we are not sure if he would like cats. If you are interested in adopting Fox, please stop by our shelter or call us at 715-627-4333 to set up a meet and greet with this sweet older gentleman. He would be a good companion for someone who can make the time for him.
Eili is a 4 year old neutered black lab male. He would be best in a home with older children and female spayed dogs. He has been at our shelter since April 2015. We would love for him to be in a furever home.
Petey is a fun-loving, full of energy boy. He is a pitbull, so he would need to go to a home outside of the city of Antigo. Petey loves to run and play and just have fun.
Meet Squiggy. He is a neutered 2 year old male black lab. He loves to play with tennis balls and splash in the water. He is full of engery and a lot of fun to be around.
Chester and Lester came to our sehlter together. We think they are brothers because they get along very well together. We would like to see them be adopted together. They are 4 year old neutered males, long haired Dachshunds.
Help us provide long lives, full of love, to these animals.
