These are the dogs we have here at the shelter.
Prince is quite a character. He is full of energy but its to be expected with his breed. He is very sweet and good with most dogs. He loves to run and play tug of war. Prince might be housebroken, he is very clean in his kennel.

Maynard is one of the best looking dogs with his rich blue color and strong body. He is also very obnoxious but is still a sweetie. He wants attention but even more he wants to explore and smell everything so its usually a flurry of excitment and indecisivness when we bring him in the building. Maynard needs a home without any cats but is ok with some other dogs. He is not housebroken.

Cory is one of our escape artists here at the shelter. He has the ability to climb and jump fences and has gotten out on us quite a few times. The good part of this is its all in harmless curiousity. We always find Cory before we even notice hes missing, sitting in front of the door or fence trying to get back in. He is a very affectionate dog and loves attention. Cory is very capable of being a great pet

Chunk is a very sweet boy in search of a forever home. He is very loving and listens well once he knows the human is the dominent one. He backs down most of the time to the other dogs and gets along with some of them. We are not sure if he is housebroken but keeps his kennel clean here at the shelter. Chunk has alot of potential and could do great with a bit of training and tlc.

Fiona is a smaller dog about the size of a beagle, maybe a bit taller. She is very sweet and listens well. Fiona is not housetrained and despite her regular scheduale here has not managed to stop using the bathroom in her kennel as most our dogs do once they get used to being here. She is good with some of our other dogs, mostly the males but will let them know when they are bothering her. Fiona is not very old and we hope she can find a home soon where she can get more one on one training and be a trained pet.

Oliver is your typical MinPin but a bit calmer. He does ok in his kennel but sometimes makes a mess. He is very sweet and gets along with the dogs we have had him with. Oliver probably is not housetrained but shouldn't be too hard to train. This is a great dog and could be a great pet to someone looking for a small dog.

Guido is our cute little puppy just waiting to get out of the shelter. He is still very young so his training would be a lot easier and the sooner he got into a home the easier he will adjust to his surroundings and new home. We arent sure exactly what breed Guido is but we dont think he will be bigger than a beagle. The only issue we have seen with Guido is food aggression but we have high hopes that it is something that can be broken at his young age.

Marvin is another one of our big sweethearts. He loves attention and goes out of his way to remind us he is there and that we can pet him. He likes females a bit more than males but is good with most everybody. He is not housetrained and gets along with some other dogs but he is dominent.
5 yrs old
Kara is one of the calmer dogs we have. She has had her share of puppies and it has mellowed her out quite a bit. She still loves attention but is more likely to curl up somewhere soft and warm than to jump on you looking for lovings.
Pit Bull Mix

Trix is a very loving, sweet, timid dog. She loves everyone she sees and gets along with our cats and sometimes gets along with our dogs, she just has jealousy issues. Trix needs to be socialized a bit more and we are unsure if she is house trained but she is still young so any training that she needs shouldn't be too much work.
Black Lab/Rottweiler Mix
4 yrs old
Tasha has fast become a favorite here at the shelter. Shes a big girl with lots of love to give. Tasha is good with most dogs as long as they give her her space. She is good with our cats and is housebroken. Tasha would make a great pet in almost any home.

Doogie is still very new to us but since his arrival we have learned a few things about him. Doogie has been very well mannered. He knows how to sit and shake and has been excellent in the office with us. Doogie also is good with our cats, he likes to smell them but doesnt bother them afterwards. So far we haven't had any problem with this dog. He is very sweet and has potential to be a great pet.
Minnow is another one of our very young dogs that is ready to go home, the sooner the better. She is not housetrainedyet but it shouldn't be too much work at her age. This is a great age to get a puppy and get them into their home where they can quickly adjust to their new owners and surroundings.

Jack a.k.a. Ruger is another one of our dogs that have been here far too long and is searching for a good forever home. He has been adopted before but didnt work out with his adopters and is looking for a new home. Jack is good with some of our other dogs and doesnt pay too much attention to our cats.
