The Langlade County Humane Society (LCHS) is made up of volunteers and professional staff who share their time, talent and energy to make better lives for those cats and dogs who find their way to the shelter.

LCHS is a privately funded, non-profit, no-kill animal shelter located in Antigo, Wisconsin. Although we are not affiliated with Langlade County government, we are Langlade County's only designated pet shelter. We rely upon your donations, not your tax dollars, to rescue, heal, care for, and re-home our cats and dogs! We provide a safe and comfortable but temporary home for stray and surrendered cats and dogs before placement in safe, loving homes. We strive to reunite lost pets with their owners if possible.

LCHS is run by a volunteer Board of Directors and is heavily dependent upon volunteers to assist in the daily operation of the Shelter.
