Do you want to directly help with the animals and activities at LCHS? If so, you may be interested in becoming a volunteer. Whether you'd like to work with the animals, serve your community, or find a new passion, we'd love to have you.

One of the most valuable donations you can give is your own time, so please know we'd appreciate every minute of it.

Here are a few examples of how you could spend your time:

• Walk dogs, play with cats, etc.
• Housekeeping (animal laundry, washing pet bowls/toys, etc.)
• Photograph LCHS animals or events
• Create graphic designs (event advertising, social media posts, etc.)
• Help with fundraising and other events
• Groundskeeping and Maintenance (repairs, property upkeep, etc.)
• Transport animals to/from vet appointments

...and anything in between!

Requirements:

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to work with cats, and 18 years old to work with dogs. Volunteers of any age are welcome at events.

Experience with animals is preferred but not at all required. Orientation and animal safety information is provided.
